The biannual Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining (FEM) has grown to be one of Europe's largest mineral industry events, with its focus on exploration and mining development in Fennoscandia. The Fennoscandian Shield offers great potential for new discoveries!

Why FEM?

FEM includes world-class presentations by invited speakers, short courses, a trade show, and excursions.

Over the years, FEM has provided a comprehensive picture of what is happening in the mineral exploration and mining industry today and in the near future in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and North western Russia. FEM is also the place to find information on working conditions and regulations in the Nordic region. The trade show arranged in connection with the conference includes over a hundred exhibitors presenting their own operations, services and products.

The conference venue is located in the most active mining area in Europe and you will be able to visit one of the operating mines during FEM excursions.

Who should attend?

FEM gives an opportunity for people from exploration, mining, consulting companies, academia, investors, governments, geological surveys, and the service sector to meet and network in pleasant surroundings.

Enjoy the company of your colleagues and customers and become inspired by the FEM atmosphere!

You will find the FEM 2013 video and Fennoscandia - the Mining Region of Europe video from the FemConference Channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/FemConference
