This conference is the first to focus on geosynthetics in mining—This will be the best opportunity for geosynthetics manufacturers, suppliers, installers, and designers to mingle with people that use and will continue to use large quantities of geosynthetics in bigger and bigger mining projects in the mining industry. This will be a unique opportunity for mining and civil engineers responsible for tailings, heap leach, waste rock facilities, civil works at mines and underground mine backfilling to learn more about existing and new geosynthetics products and uses. This will be an event at which the professions can examine the challenges unique to geosynthetics in mining; namely the harsh environment of mines and the need to construct facilities that will endure for the ages.
