The Geological Survey of China and the local organizing committee are proud to announce the 14th Quadrennial IAGOD Symposium, which will be held in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, Southwest China. The symposium will take place at the highly acclaimed Yunan Convention Resort, from 19 to 22, August 2014.
The 14th Quadrennial IAGOD Symposium will provide excellent opportunities to present and exchange knowledge on research on the genesis of ore deposits. Under the theme “Mineral Resources: Discovery and Utilization”, the symposium will cover all aspects of currently hot topics in economic geology that will lead to an enhanced understanding of the genesis of mineral deposits in continental settings, as well as to improved techniques for exploration, discovery, and utilization.
