The inaugural Sierra Leone International Mining and Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (SIMEC 2014) will take place from 7th – 9th May 2014. The main theme of the event is “Sierra Leone’s Mining and Petroleum Industry: the Catalyst for moving forward the Agenda for Prosperity”.
This event is organised by the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Resources of Sierra Leone and the National Minerals Agency of Sierra Leone, in association with AME Trade Ltd. SIMEC 2014 offers both domestic and international institutions involved in Sierra Leone’s mining and petroleum sectors an unparalleled opportunity to meet key decision makers and share experiences with a range of stakeholders.
The event will feature a three-day conference consisting of plenary sessions and roundtable discussions, a co-located trade exhibition and the opportunity to participate in a technical visit to mining sites.
