HSE for Mining

February 27, 2014 - February 28, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Mines can be hazardous environments and the possibility of fire, flood, explosion and collapse has the potential to simultaneously affect a large number of people. In critical situations, leaders can make or break, they need to develop, lead and implement a strategy for health and safety in the mining industry, coal mines and mines producing other minerals. This workshop will address strategic roles of leadership, involving the workforce, avoiding catastrophe, building competence, and creating healthier, safer workplaces. It is mainly based on the principles of safety behaviours (behaviour safety) and pro-active safety. The expectations of this action is a change of attitude, consolidating durable and desirable behaviours that may go transmitting, or that may become the subject of imitation by other members of the company members, reducing accidents and diseases. This program is the first step to create the foundation for what will become the future of health and safety culture.
