IIT(ISM) EIACP Centre, Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, IIT(ISM), Dhanbad is celebrating World Environment Day on 5th June, 2023. The theme for this year’s World Environment Day 2023 will focus on Solutions to Plastic Pollution under the campaign #BeatPlasticPollution. This year’s theme focuses on encouraging people to give up on the usage of plastic and identify it as the source of environmental degradation. It is a reminder that people’s actions on plastic pollution matters. Changing individual and community behavior alone can significantly impact environmental problems.
To mark this occasion, IIT(ISM) EIACP Centre is organizing plantation drive for all to show our commitment towards the environment and aid in combating the negative consequences of climate change, inauguration of Monograph (special edition on Mission LiFE), sit & draw competition, essay writing, and poster presentation competition on 5th June 2023.
The virtual inauguration of Monograph (special edition on Mission LiFE) will be presided by the Chief Guest Sri Sanjeev Kumar, APCCF, CAMPA, Government of Jharkhand and Patron & Convener Prof. Rajiv Shekhar, Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad at 10.00 AM on 05.06.2023.
