IIT (ISM) ENVIS Centre (sponsored by Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change) at Department of Environmental Science & Engineering (ESE), IIT(ISM), Dhanbad is conducting a one-day Exposure visit-cum-Training Programme for college students on January 2, 2022. The training area is located 45 km from the IIT(ISM) on the Dhanbad-Sahebganj National Highway (near Karamdaha Village). The programme will provide field exposure to the students including hands-on experience about field based primary data generation on ecology and biodiversity sampling, surface water and agriculture/forest soil sampling, air and noise monitoring etc.
Interested students are requested to register themselves through the Google form link (https://forms.gle/TjFzyw9uH5SqHH8x7). The training kit, lunch, traveling facilities and certificate will be provided by IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre during the field visit.
There are limited seats (40) for this Exposure visit-cum-training programme. The entry will be purely on First Come, First Entry basis. The Registration will close at 5:00 PM on 29.12.2021. The list of selected students will be published and intimated by email for their confirmation of participation by 7:00 PM, 29.12.2021. The selected students are requested to assemble as per the following details:

Time: 07:00 AM sharp
Place: IIT(ISM), Dhanbad Main Gate
Note: The bus will depart at 07:00 AM sharp from IIT(ISM) Main Gate. The training progamme will close at 6:00PM and the participants will be dropped at IIT(ISM) Main Gate. No accommodation and TA/DA will be provided for joining the training programme. The selected participants will come in formal winter dress with college Identity Card, Aadhaar Card and COVID-19 vaccine certificate. The participants will remain in discipline throughout the training period.
