Vanessa currently serves as the Vice President Operational Infrastructure for BHP Billiton Iron Ore directly accountable for all rail, non-process infrastructure, engineering, centralized maintenance and integrated/remote operations. Previous to this role Vanessa was the Head of Group Investments & Value Management at BHP Billiton in Melbourne from November 2012 to June 2015, with significant exposure to BHP Billiton’s Board of Directors, and accountable for Strategy, Corporate and Scenario Planning, as well as the Group’s Investment Processes. She was Vice President Group Planning since December 2010 and Vice President Business Development and Projects at BHP Billiton Nickel West from August 2007 to November 2010.
