MeMO 2016 is organized by the Surface Mining Society (SMS), the Underground Mining Society (UMS) and the Maintenance, Engineering and Reliability Society (MER), along with members of CIM Sudbury Branch, in collaboration with the CIM national organization.
CIM Sudbury is proud to host this international mining event. MeMO conferences are typically held in a different Canadian city every one or two years, attracting hundreds of industry professionals from across the country and around the world. The City of Greater Sudbury, whose history is deeply rooted in mining, has a steadfast reputation as an international mining hub for research and technology, as well as being recognized as a major global supplier to industry.
