The MMTA’s International Minor Metals Conference will return to Europe in 2016 and will take place at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 17-19 April 2016.

This is the premier event for the international minor metals community and is the main annual event held by the Minor Metals Trade Association for both members and non-members.

Amsterdam, one of Europe’s great cultural cities, is an excellent location as it is easily accessed by direct flights from all major international airports.

The conference will once again combine a strong programme of presentations with plenty of opportunities to meet with fellow attendees.

The programme will focus on developments in the global minor metals sector particularly looking at current and future applications that will drive demand for this diverse group of metals. Metals covered by this conference include cobalt, antimony, chromium, bismuth, gallium, germanium, vanadium, mercury, selenium, tellurium, molybdenum, rhenium, tungsten, tantalum, manganese, lithium, magnesium & titanium amongst others. The 2016 programme will also feature presentations looking at the vital issues facing the industry including conflict metals legislation and REACH.

We are delighted that C. Steinweg Handelsveem is the platinum sponsor at the 2016 conference and is hosting a drinks and canapes reception on April 18 on board the Het Wapen van Amsterdam, an elegant cruise ship which will transport us along the Amstel for an evening cruise.

The NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is extremely well located and is walking distance from Central Station and the beautiful canals, fantastic museums, excellent restaurants and lively bars in the city.

At the 2015 conference in Toronto there were over 200 attendees and we expect similar numbers in Amsterdam in 2016.
