Invited Guest Mr. Alejandro Caballero visited IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre - RP

Invited Guest Mr. Alejandro Caballero, Director de ingenieria, BIOAZUL, Spain visited IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre - RP, Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad today. In his two days visit, on the 1st day (on 22nd Sept 2022) Mr. Alejandro Caballero had a brief talk with Prof. Anshumali, Head of the Department of ESE and ENVIS Coordinator, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad along with Prof. S.K. Gupta, Professor, Dept. of ESE, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad and Prof. Alok Sinha, Professor, Dept. of ESE, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. He later visited IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre-RP and took keen interest on the vast resources and information repository on the subject area "Environmental Problems of Mining" present with the centre. He appreciated the work being carried out and also the Environmental Information System network. Mr. Alejandro Caballero also visited the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) designed by Dept. of ESE and installed at IIT(ISM) Campus. On his 2nd day visit (on 23rd Sept 2022) Mr. Alejandro Caballero delivered a lecture on "Automation of SBR/STP for the Treatment of Wastewater" and had an interaction session with the M.Tech and PhD RResearch Scholars of the Department of ESE.
