CMPDI on Novmber 11, 2020 hosted a Technical Session on "Seismic Acquisition with special reference to Blocks awarded to Asian" and a lecture was delivered by Renowned Geologist Padmashree Rabi Narayan Bastia.

Shri Bastia shared his knowledge on the 2D/3D Seismic survey in Coal Exploration which is being adopted by CMPDI in their exploration. This will enhance the pace of exploration & cover the larger blocks. This is in line with the honorable Prime Minister's commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Earlier Shri Shekhar Saran, CMD, CMPDI; Shri S.K.Gomasta, D (T/CRD); Shri R.N.Jha ( D/RD&T) Welcomed the chief guest Padmashree Rabi Narayan Bastia. Shri Rajiw Lochan, Advisor(CED) and Shri A.P.Panda, GM(exploration), and other employees were present and participated in the technical session.
