The Valedictory Ceremony of the 4-Day Workshop on "Microbial and Chemical Risk Assessment Framework," organized by the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, in collaboration with the School of Biosystems and Food Engineering, University College Dublin, Ireland, and EIACP Programme Centre (RP) as the organizing partner, marked a successful conclusion on 13th December 2024.
Workshop Convener - Prof. S.R. Samadder, Professor, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the invited expert, Dr. Rajat Nag, for his invaluable contributions and insightful sessions that enriched the participants’ understanding of risk assessment. He also acknowledged the participants for their dedication and active engagement throughout the workshop.
Invited Expert - Dr. Rajat Nag, Assistant Professor at the UCD School of Biosystems and Food Engineering, University College Dublin, Ireland, in his address, thanked Prof. S.R. Samadder and the organizers for creating a platform to share his expertise with an enthusiastic audience. He appreciated the participants’ punctuality and their keen interest in the workshop sessions, which ran from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Dr. Nag also emphasized the importance of discipline in achieving success, complementing academic pursuits with personal growth.
Participants shared their feedback, expressing gratitude for the comprehensive knowledge they gained, particularly the hands-on training in risk assessment models. The ceremony also included the awarding of certificates by Dr. Rajat Nag to the participants, recognizing their successful completion of the 4-Day Workshop and their dedication throughout the sessions.
The workshop concluded successfully, fostering insightful discussions on risk assessment, risk models, and sustainable practices. Heartfelt gratitude was extended to all contributors, including the participants for their enthusiasm, and the volunteers and organizing team, for making the workshop a resounding success.
