The 22nd meeting of the National Dust Prevention Committee was held at the corporate office of CIL in Kolkata on Dec 04, 2024. Representatives from the Safety & Rescue Departments of CIL Corporate Hq. & subsidiaries, Singareni Collieries Company SCCL, NLC (India) Ltd., IIT(ISM), CIMFR, Tata Steel, and other companies attended the meeting. Prof. Manish Kumar Jain, Professor, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, represented IIT(ISM) Dhanbad at the event. The meeting was chaired by Chairman CIL Shri P M Prasad.
