Today, Sh. Amri Lal Meena, Secretary (Coal) presided over the National Coal Mines Safety Report Portal review meeting, which was attended by CMDs of CIL & Coal PSUs, senior Ministry officials. Our continued efforts to improve safety standards in the coal industry are highlighted by this meeting. The safety and audit portal review was given by the CIL Chairman. The Secretary underlined the necessity of 100% safety audits in all mines and stressed our dedication to attaining "Zero Accident, Fail-Proof Safety" at the meeting. Officers also offered insightful recommendations to quicken mine safety advancements. The Ministry of Coal and coal-related PSUs are putting best practices into practice to promote a "Culture of Mine Safety," which includes strict risk assessment procedures to find and eliminate possible risks.
