On the momentous occasion of the 78th Independence Day at Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad proudly hoisted the national flag, embodying the spirit of freedom and progress. Adding to the celebrations, the EIACP Programme Centre (RP), Department of Environmental Science and Engineering held an inspiring prize distribution ceremony. This event recognized the outstanding talents of students who excelled in the sit-and-draw competition and essay writing competitions held on the occasion of World Environment Day, 5th June 2024, as well as the online drawing and poster-making competitions under the Mission LiFE campaign held from December 2023 to January 2024. Prof. Sukumar Mishra, alongside his wife Madam Smt. Sakuntala Mishra, presented the awards to the winners, celebrating the creativity and commitment of the participants in promoting environmental consciousness. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Prof. Alok Sinha - HOD, Dept. of ESE & Coordinator, EIACP (PC-RP), IIT(ISM) Dhanbad along with his EIACP (PC-RP) Team.
