On the occasion of Industry-Institute Interaction 2024 (R&D Fair 2024) at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad on 04.02.2024, The Global Campaign on Mission LiFE covering the 7 themes to make Pro-Planet-People to reduce human footprint on Environmental Matrix was organized by IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), led by Prof. Anshumali, HOD, Dept. of ESE & Coordinator, EIACP (PC-RP), IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. A stall was also put up by the IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) along with Department of Environmental Science & Engineering showcasing the various publications, posters and infographics prepared by the centre on Mission LiFE and various key environmental issues. Various Research Facilities available in the Department of ESE and product developed by the department catering to the Mission LiFE’s 7 action themes were also showcased. Around 200 nos. of participants comprising of UG/PG students, research scholars, faculty members, eminent guests from academia and industry sectors participated during the awareness campaign and were sensitized on Mission LiFE, which was announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi at the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP26).
