Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) Officers, Dr. Dipankar Saha, Advisor, BSPCB and Mr. Moorthy M. Nair, Programme Lead, BSPCB visited Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad on 13th May, 2022 (Friday). The agenda of their visit was to discuss on future collaborations between these two organizations. A brief meeting was held in this regard at Department Seminar Hall with faculty members of Department of Environmental Science & Engineering and BSPCB Officers and was headed by Prof. Anshumali, HOD, Dept. of ESE. Later Dr. Dipankar Saha, Advisor, BSPCB and Mr. Moorthy M. Nair, Programme Lead, BSPCB visited the Air Pollution Monitoring Laboratories and even interacted with the Research Scholars. Dr. Dipankar Saha, Advisor, BSPCB and Mr. Moorthy M. Nair, Programme Lead, BSPCB along with Prof. Anshumali, HOD, Dept. of ESE and Prof. Suresh Pandian, Associate Professor, Dept. of ESE had a meeting with Prof. Rajiv Shekhar, Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad.
A MoU was signed with reference to Inventory, Source Apportionment and Carrying Capacity for 03 Non-attainment Cities of Bihar State.
