Shri K.P. Dubey, IFS(1987), PCCF, R&T, UP, Kanpur visited Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad on 24th of March, 2022. On this occasion Prof. S.K. Maiti, Professor, Dept. of ESE delivered a talk on the topic "Ecological Restoration of Coal Mine Degraded Land: A Glimpses of Research Work & Demonstration Projects Executed by the Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering (Centre for Mining Environment under MoEF&CC, Govt. of India)" which was followed by an interactive session with Shri K.P. Dubey by the Students, Research Scholars and Faculty Members of Dept. of ESE. At the end of the sesion Prof. Anshumali, Head of Dept. of ESE thanked Shri K.P. Dubey for visiting the Department and assured of collaborating with the Forest Department and working together towards achieving environmentally sustainable growth by preserving nature. Later Shri K.P. Dubey even visited the Research Labs at Dept. of ESE.
