Specialized Training Programme for DGMS Officers on
"Hazardous Atmospheres and Electrical Installations"
conducted at Mines Safety Health Academy, DGMS, Dhanbad
from 16.01.2017 to 20.01.2017

 

The knowledge, skills and competencies of persons working and also regulating the hazardous places like mines are vital towards ensuring safety of the industry at large. Upgradation of skill and knowledge is also equally important to cope up with the technological advancements in the electrical safety. Therefore, specialized training programme for DGMS officers on “Hazardous Atmospheres and Electrical Installations (Selection, Inspection and Maintenance of Hazardous area Electrical Products)” was conducted at Mines Safety Health Academy, DGMS, Dhanbad from 16.01.2017 to 20.01.2017. The inaugural function of the training programme was chaired by Shri Rahul Guha, Director General of Mines Safety on 16.01.2017. The training was concluded on 20.01.2017 and the valedictory programme of the training was chaired by Shri P K Sarkar, DDG (HQ).

 

M/s Karandikar Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., who is Recognized Training Provider (RTP) by IEC and approved by Quality Council of India (QCI) for providing specialized training programme on Hazardous Atmospheres and Electrical Installations was entrusted to impart the training programme.

 

The training was imparted by empaneled faculty members of M/s Karandikar Laboratories for 22 officers of DGMS in two batches. In first batch, 12 officers were trained from 16.01.2017 to 17.01.2017, where as in second batch, 10 officers were trained from 19.01.2017 to 20.01.2017. The participants of the training are being awarded KLPL + QCI certificate of successful completion.
