Centre of Mining Environment, IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre organized a short programme on 'Digital Payments' on the occasion of National Youth Day at Department of Environmental Science & Engineering amongst the youths and officials of the host dept. Head of the Department, Prof. Ashok Kumar Singh shared some useful information on Digital Payment and how India is moving towards a Cashless Economy. Mr. Bishwajit Das, Information Officer-cum Programme Assistant of IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre gave an instructive talk on the various apps that are available on smartphone platform which are being widely used for cashless transaction and helping, moving India towards a Cashless Economy.
