Students during the Awareness Programme and Outreach Activity under Mission LiFE at Utkramit Ucch Vidyalaya Phulwar.

IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) conducted an awareness programme under Mission LiFE at Utkramit Ucch Vidyalaya Phulwar on 10.11.2023. The programme was inaugurated by Sri Rajesh Kumar Mahato, Principal, Utkramit Ucch Vidyalaya Phulwar, in the presence of Dr. Parul Maurya, Programme Officer, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), Mr. Bishwajit Das, Information Officer, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), Mr. Durga Das Chandra, IT Officer, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), and Ms. Supriya Bistu, DEO, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP). Around 300 students, teachers, and staff participated in the programme and were sensitized on Mission LiFE. Awareness materials, creatives and posters highlighting the 7 themes of LiFE Mission were disseminated during the programme. A quiz competition on Mission LiFE was also organized among the students. Mission LiFE Cotton/Jute bags were distributed among the teachers and staff of the school encouraging all to use these cloth bags instead of plastic bags with the vision to reduce use of single use plastics. Mission LiFE pledge was also taken at the end.
