Unit Based Training Workshop on “Envtl. Pollution Control In Mines” was organized for 13 Officials of M P State Pollution Control Board by Centre of Mining Environment (CME)/ Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering during August 9-13, 2010 at ISM Dhanbad Interactive Sessions were focused on EIA, Auditing, Water & Air Quality Monitoring, Assessment & Control Aspects, Acid Mine Drainage, Hydrogeological aspects of ground water management etc. and were provided exposure on various environmental problems & some best management practices of Jharia Coalfield.
