•Two-weeks Training Program on “Environmental Impact Assessment of Mining Projects” for the Officials of Ministry of Mines, Government of Afghanistan, sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India was organized by Centre of Mining Environment, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad during 6th December – 22nd December, 2014. Inaugurated the Proramme Dr. D. D. Misra, Former Director, Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CIMFR) Dhanbad was the Chief Guest and Prof D C Panigrahi, Director, ISM, Dhanbad presided over that function.
