IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) conducted an awareness programme under Mission LiFE at Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya, Deoli on 24.11.2023. The programme was organized under the guidance of Prof. Anshumali, Head, Dept. of ESE and coordinator, EIACP (PC-RP), IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. The programme was inaugurated by Sri Awanikant Jha, Principal, Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya, Deoli, in the presence of Dr. Parul Maurya, Programme Officer, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), Mr. Bishwajit Das, Information Officer, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), Mr. Durga Das Chandra, IT Officer, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP), and Ms. Supriya Bistu, DEO, IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP). Around 75 students, teachers, and staff participated in the programme and were sensitized on Mission LiFE. Awareness materials, creatives and posters highlighting the 7 themes of LiFE Mission were disseminated during the programme. Students were informed about the ongoing Drawing, competition under 7 themes of LiFE Mission that is being organized by IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP). Mission LiFE Cotton/Jute bags were distributed among the teachers and staff of the school encouraging all to use these cloth bags instead of plastic bags with the vision to reduce use of single use plastics. Mission LiFE pledge was also taken by the teachers, students and staff at the end of the programme.
