Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Planet Sustech, a premiere sustainability technology firm that provides end-to-end sustainability solutions working towards decarbonization journey, as part of its effort to strengthen academia industry partnership. The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. J. K. Pattanayak, Director (Officiating), IIT-ISM, Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Dy. Director, IIT-ISM, Prof. Sagar Pal, Dean (R&D), IIT-ISM, Prof. Anshumali, HOD/Dept. of ESE, IIT-ISM and other faculty members, staff & administration of IIT-ISM. Mr. Bobby Mohanty, Co-Founder, Ms. Anjali, Co-Founder/Director, Mr. Abhishek Agarwal, Vice President Sales and Technology and Mr. Mayank Dhingra, Head of Product, were present from Planet Sustech during the signing of the MoU. This MoU will help both the organizations to collaborate towards finding solutions to minimize carbon footprint, development of carbon emission calculator and sustainability reporting as per Scope-3 Emission (indirect emissions from supply chains or services) with an aim of achieving net zero goals through research, innovation, and knowledge dissemination in addition to providing students with field experience and expand campus placements, outreach activities, training programmes, R&D and consultancy services while also developing high-value projects. Planet Sustech team were felicitated with Shawls, Mementoes and Mission LiFE cotton/jute bags by Prof. J. K. Pattanayak, Director (Officiating), IIT (ISM), Dhanbad.
