IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) conducted an awareness programme under Mission LiFE at Nehru Public School, Katrasgarh on 07.11.2023. Around 40 students of Class-III, IV & V, teachers and staffs participated in the programme and were sensitized about Mission LiFE. They all were encouraged to adopt sustainable and healthy lifestyle for a sustainable and better environment. Mr. Bishwajit Das, Information officer, IIT(ISM) EIAPC (PC-RP) delivered a talk on Mission LiFE and told the students about the need to bring behavioral changes among individuals for significant impact on the environmental and climate crises. During the programme awareness materials, posters and creatives highlighting the 7 themes of LiFE Mission were distributed to promote sustainable lifestyle for environment. At the end of the programme students, teachers and staff took the Lifestyle for the Environment Pledge to become Pro-Planet-People and protect the environment by choosing ‘Environment Friendly Alternatives’. Students were also informed about the ongoing Drawing competition under 7 themes of LiFE Mission that is being organized by IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) and were encourage to participate and showcase their ideas and creative artwork on sustainable lifestyle for environment.
