Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 was observed at Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad on 30th October 2023 at 11:00AM. This is observed every year during the week in which the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls, i.e. 31st October. The theme for this year Vigilance Awareness Week is “भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध करें ; राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पित रहें”, "Say no to corruption; commit to the Nation".

On this occasion under the guidance of Prof. Anshumali, HOD, Dept. of ESE, all the Faculty Members, Technical Officers, Office Staff and EIACP Staff took the integrity pledge to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of activities and also to work unstintingly for eradication of corruption in all spheres of life. The pledge was recited by Prof. P.K. Singh, Professor, Dept. of ESE, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
