IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) along with the faculty members of Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, under the headship of Prof. Anshumali, HOD, Dept. of ESE & Coordinator, EIACP (PC-RP), IIT(ISM) Dhanbad attended the meeting on "Creation of LiFE Selfie Points", chaired by Shri Tanmay Kumar, Additional Secretary, MoEF&CC, GOI, New Delhi on 17th August 2023 from 05:00 PM onwards. Discussion were held on sensitizing of the Mission LiFE: Lifestyle for Environment campaign which includes setting up of selfie points at major spots like, institutes, parks, zoos, sanctuaries, historical monumental sites, etc. Suggestions were also put forward during the meeting as of how the plan can be executed and how the footfall of people taking selfies can be monitored. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Ms.Nameeta Prasad, Joint Secretary, MoEF&CC and Divisional Head of EIACP.
