Major Activity

Community Awareness programme organised under Mission LiFE on 01.06.2023

A community awareness programme under Mission LiFE campaign was organized on 01.06.2023 by IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) along with students and research scholars of Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering in IIT(ISM) Dhanbad campus residential area. During the event discussion were held on Ways to Reduce Food Waste & Waste Segregation Practices at Home and Solution to Plastic Polution by Reducing SUPs. Residents actively participated in this discussion and every individual decided to contribute their bit towards making the campus plastic free and practice sustainable and healthy lifestyle for a better environment. At the end of the programme Mission LiFE Pleade was also taken. Mass distribution of solid waste collection bins among the residents was also done as a symbol to promote segregation of waste at source.
