Cycle Rally under Mission LiFE Campaign to promote sustainable Lifestyle organized by IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP)

Under Mission LiFE Programme and part of series of activities to the run up for World Environment Day 2023 IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) , organized two days Mission LiFE Cycle Rally from 01.06.2023 - 02.06.2023. On Day-I the Mission LiFE Cycle Rally and Awareness Campaign was conducted staring from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Main Gate to Police Line area of Dhanbad city covering around 30 shops and vegetable market area. General public, shopkeepers, vegetable/fruits/meat sellers and hawkers sensitized on "Reduce Single Use Plastics" and "Solution to Plastic Pollution" and messages/slogans were delivered with an aim to inspire positive action and promote sustainable lifestyle. LiFE Creatives on Reduce Single use Plastics were also distributed and Mission Lifestyle for Environment pledge was also taken. A total 60 nos. of students and research scholars participated in the event.

Day-II of Mission LiFE Cycle Rally and Mass Awareness Campaign on "Reduce Single Use Plastics" and "Solution to Plastic Pollution" to promote sustainable lifestyle was organized by IIT(ISM) EIACP (PC-RP) on 02.06.2023. A total 40 nos. of students, research scholars and staffs along with Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Prof. Anshumali, HOD, Dept. of ESE & Coordinator, EIACP(PC-RP), IIT(ISM) Dhanbad and Mr. Ram Manohar, Senior Security Officer, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad participated in the campaign. The Day-II Mission LiFE Cycle Rally and Awareness Campaign was conducted starting from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Main Gate to City Centre, Barwadda bus stand and market area near CSIR-CIMFR, Dhanbad. Messages/slogans on "Reduce Single Use Plastics" and "Solution to Plastic Pollution" to promote sustainable lifestyle were delivered. LiFE Creatives on Reduce Single use Plastics were also distributed and Mission Lifestyle for Environment pledge was also taken.
