With the help of FPO, special agricultural products of Singrauli district like Maize, Arhar, Urad, Tisi, Linseed, Mustard, Bajra (Sama, Kodo), Chironji, Ginger, Bitter gourd etc will reach to the right customers.
NCL, under the "Kisanganga" campaign, is training the local farmers in the latest and sustainable farming practices to increase the income of the farmers and ensure a sustainable future for them.
It is worth mentioning that under the Kisanganga project, NCL has developed a community hall located in nearby village Birkuniya, and developed it as a satellite center with technical support from NCL-IIT-BHU Incubation Centre. Here farmers, women and children of the nearby villages are given free training in organic, sustainable and latest farming practices, packaging of agricultural products, food processing and marketing etc.
The main hall of this center is equipped with video conferencing facility, from where local farmers can interact with the experts from any agricultural university or higher technical institute of the country and get the solution for the problems related to agriculture. Under Kisanganga, an online portal has also been started to ensure the direct reach of agricultural products to the customers.
