Under the green campus campaign on September 08, 2010 massive plantation programme was carried out at Sapphire Hostel and Seismology Laboratory under the Leadership of Retired IAS Shri P. K. Lahiri, Chairman General Council & Executive Board, ISM and Professor T. Kumar Director, ISM. Head of the Department Environmental Science Engineering, Prof. Gurdeep Singh, faculty members of the department and Coordinator, ISM ENVIS Centre along with students supervised the programme.
