Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 was observed at Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad from October 28, 2019 to November 02, 2019.
The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week renews our commitment to achieve the goals of promoting integrity, transparency and accountability in public life and to lay greater emphasis on generation of awareness among the public as a more effective and sustainable means of fighting corruption.
The theme for this year Vigilance Awareness Week is "Integrity: way of life". The observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with the pledge, taken by the faculty members, staffs, research scholars and student of the department. In total about 20 nos. of faculty members & staffs were present who took the Integrity Pledge.
Addressing the faculty members & staffs present, Prof. S.K. Gupta, HOD/ESE stressed the importance of good governance and the effective use of control measures to improve performance and to eliminate corruption.
