6 Days Training Programme on " Application of Remote Sensing and GIS for Environmental Management near Mining and Industrial Areas " for executives from various industrial sectors was inaugurated on 17th December, 2019 by Prof Rajiv Shekhar, Director,  IIT ISM Dhanbad at Executive Development Centre.

The programme is coordinated by Prof. P.K. Singh, Associate Professor, Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering. Prof. S.K. Gupta, Head of the Department, Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering, addressed the dignitaries present and welcomed the executive participants of the 6 Days Training Programme and Prof. M.K. Jain, Associate Professor, Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering, presented the vote of thanks followed by group photo.
