IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre today organized a field visit for the GSDP 2019 Certificate Course Participants to the BCCL Open Cast Mine & Eco-restoration Site, Katras. The participants were accompanied by Prof. Vipin Kumar, Associate Professor, Dept. of ESE, IIT(ISM),Dhanbad and ENVIS Co-coordinator & GSDP TIC, Prof. Chiranjib Banerjee, INSPIRE Faculty (DST), Dr. Ashvani Kumar, Programme Officer, IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre and Mr. Bishwajit Das, Information Officer, IIT(ISM) ENVIS Centre.
Mr. Sagir Ahmad, Supervisor, WTP and Mr. Mahato, Junior Engineer, WTP received us and gave a tour of BCCL Open Cast Mine & Eco-restoration Site.
