A seminar on "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" was conducted by Dhanbad Nagar Nigam and IIT(ISM), Dhanbad at GJLT Auditorium. Shri Rajesh kumar Sharma, IAS, Director, Nagar Vikas, Govt. of Jharkhand addressed the students of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad under "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" in presence of officials of District Administration. Other dignitary present were Prof. M.K. Singh, Prof. U.K. Singh, Dr. R.K. Sharma and Dr. J. Manam.
Shri Rajesh kumar Sharma addressed the students and asked them to take the matter in their own hands and each student should start contributing in some way to keep their premises swach starting from their own room. The students should then start adopting the near by localities under this swachta abhiyan module and this way we can help building a cleaner Dhanbad and which will ultimately contribute to a Swach Bharat.
He even shared his personal contact number with the students and asked them to come up with any idea which can help their town, cleaner and better.
