Vigilance Awareness Week 2017 was conducted at Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad.
The week in which 31st October, the birthday of late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls is observed as Vigilance Awareness Week.
The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week renews our commitment to achieve the goals of promoting integrity, transparency and accountability in public life and to lay greater emphasis on generation of awareness among the public as a more effective and sustainable means of fighting corruption.

The theme for this year is "My Vision - Corruption Free India"

The observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with pledge taking by the faculties, staffs, research scholars and student of the department.
