ISM Dhanbad celebrated WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY on 5th of June , 2016. On this occasion, Drawing & Collage Competition, Essay Writing, Poster Presentation and Plantation of Tree Saplings were organized under the aegis of the 'Department of Environmental Science & Engineering'. The programme was inaugurated by Col. (Retd.)M.K. Singh, Registrar, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
PROGRAMME FOR WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
1. Drawing & Collage Competition:
School going children upto Std. VIII were welcomed to participate in the Drawing & Collage competition.
Students from Nursery to Std. VIII under 4 Categories participated and expressed their views through their art. Different category had a different theme and topic to draw or make their collage on.
