Only 21 plots went into auctions. These sandstone plots especially in Bhilwara fetched 1000 percent of the reserve price. In the first phase 11 plots in Bhilwara, 8 in Sikar and 2 in Sirohi were sold. Despite partial success, the mining department is excited began process to sell 132 plots in the next phase. However, there are worries about not receiving adequate bids for half the plots. Besides, these empty plots have issues related to revenue and pasture land.
