BEML launches training centre

 

Mysuru | Jul 12, 2016: The city-based BEML on Monday launched a facility to train personnel in mining and handling of construction equipment.

 

The PSU's chairman and managing director Deepak Kumar Hota launched Service Training Centre at BEML complex in Hebbal Industrial Area.

 

The PSU, which is attached to the ministry of defence, manufactures heavy earthmoving equipment deployable in mining and construction sectors. The centre has been set up as part of Skill India campaign.

 

After doing the honours, the CMD said: "We have to accord greater emphasis for systematic evaluation of training activities which will enhance customer satisfaction."

 

The PSU stated that the newly inaugurated centre has exclusive training facilities to educate personnel on mining and construction equipment like dumpers, motor graders, water sprinklers and BEML engines.

 

The centre will cater to the training requirements of its service personnel and customers. This initiative is in addition to imparting skills through training of employees, trainees and apprentices.
