VISAKHAPATNAM | May 13, 2015:

All the trade unions of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant will shortly visit New Delhi to submit a representation to the Centre for expediting the process for allotment of captive mines. Visakha Steel Employees’ Congress general secretary Mantri Rajasekhar said on Tuesday the production cost of VSP was the highest for want of captive mines. Addressing a meeting he said they would continue their protest till the management relaxed norms to allow ITI certificate holders to apply for the posts of operator-cum-technicians.
