MOIL, a miniratna state-owned manganese-ore mining company headquartered in Nagpur, has added another cap in its feather as it won prestigious awards in the recently held 48th All India Mines Rescue Competition.
MOIL bagged many awards oin the competition that was held in Jamadoba Mines of Tata Steel in District Dhandbad between December 12 and 15. In all 18 Coal Teams and 6 Metal Mines Teams participated in Rescue Competition representing various orgnisation in the mining sector from all over the country. In Metal Mines Category, MOIL bagged three prestigious awards. MOIL was awarded overall second best team and also secured second position in Rescue and Recovery Work and bagged best team at Fresh Air Base, informs a press release issued here.
MOIL team got these awards at the hands of P K Sarkar, Director General of Mines & Safety and Sanjeev Paul, Vice President, TATA Steel. MOIL Team thanked M P Chaudhari, CMD - MOIL; and others senior officers for their continuous encouragement and motivation. The event was hosted by Tata Steel & SAIL.
