Mancherial | Dec 19, 2017: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Safety Week celebrations were held on a grand note under the leadership of General Manager Subhani at Srirampur division on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Subhani said stalls were arranged in all the mines for creating awareness to workers on accidents that occur during mining. Precautions to be taken to avoid mishaps were explained.
Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TGBKS) leader Surendar Reddy lauded the SCCL management, especially it’s Managing Director Sridhar, for being concerned about the workers’ health and safety. He urged the management to select a few experienced persons from every mine for field visits to other countries where sophisticated technology is being used.
