Four independent Directors of SAIL board visited the iron ore mines of Raw Materials Division (RMD) of SAIL in Jharkhand and Odisha. Ms. AnshuVaish, Mr.NilanjanSanyal, CAParmodBindal, and CA K S Chauhan visited RMD mines at Barsua, Taldih, Gua, Chiria, Kiriburu and Meghahatuburu recently. Mr. Kalyan Maity, Director (RM&L), SAIL accompanied them during the visit at certain mines. Head of mines of the respective mines took them around to show the different areas of mining operation, CSR activities, hospital, and other areas. The independent directors, who paid their maiden visit to RMD mines, took keen interest in understanding the mining activities, life in the mines, CSR and other relevant areas. Mr. Maity briefed them on mining operation, mines performance, future plan, CSR and other points.
