Jaipur | November 23, 2017: On the demand of state’s Marble, Granite and Kota Stone Associations, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has announced to reduce the rates of royalty by 30 percent to 10 percent on minerals, marble, granite and limestone. Under the leadership of Urban Development Minister Shrichand Kripalani and Higher Education Minister Kiran Maheshwari, mining traders gathered at the CM residence to express their gratitude for reduction in GST rates of various commodities, including marble and granite. Mining traders have said that because of the continued and effective efforts of the Chief Minister, GST Council has given a new life to the mining industry of the state by cutting down the GST rate. Millions of businessmen, artisans and workers of the state connected with this industry have received huge relief from this.
