Deoghar District Mining Officer suspended

 

DUMKA (JHARKHAND) | Nov 07, 2017: Deoghar District Mining Officer, Babulal Razak has been placed under suspension for being absent from office without informing his seniors, a top Mining department official said today.

 

Razak has been suspended for staying away from the head office without informing his senior officers and the department, Jharkhand Mining secretary, Sunil Kumar Burnwal said.

 

Burnwal also held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners, Superintendent of Police and Mining Officers of all six districts of Santal Paragana region here said Chief Minister Raghubar Das has taken cognizance regarding illegal sand and stone mining and directed him to hold a meeting with the concerned officials in this regard.

 

Later addressing a press conference Burnwal said the meeting was aimed to ensure that all illegal mining of sand, stone and coal in the region be stopped.
