SCCL managers told to reach targets

 

Kothagudem | Nov 02, 2017: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman-cum-Managing Director N Sridhar has directed the Area Managers to ensure that the company produces at least 1.92 lakh tonnes of coal and transport 1.95 lakh tonnes to enable reach annual production and transportation targets.

 

He was reviewing the production and transportation targets with General Managers of all areas of coal production at its office in Hyderabad on Thursday. He told them to use machinery to their fullest capacity to reach the set targets.

 

In view of increasing demand for coal supply from thermal power plants, he wanted all areas of coal mining to give top priority to transportation. At the same time, quality standards should be adhered to, he added. He spoke to Area General Managers individually on the progress achieved by the each area of coal mining.

 

He discussed with them the production, transportation, over burden clearance and other aspects and told them no area should lag behind in meeting the targets. SCCL Directors J Pavitran Kumar, B Bhaskar Rao, S Chandrasekhar and higher officials of various government departments took part in the meeting.
