Sources said that the raiding team found that large-scale illegal laterite stone extraction was in progress with the help of two power tiller machines at Camurlim.

Sources said that one big laterite stone cutting machine powered by 52.5kv generator was in use.

The raiding team detained two powertiller machines and one big laterite stone cutting machine one generator 52.5kv and 2 tipper trucks loaded with laterite stones.

Sources said that Tuem and Camurlim are hub for illegal stone quarry business.
