The State-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N. Sridhar on Monday issued orders regularising the services of a total of 2,416 badili workers, 299 badili coal fillers, and 3 temporary tunnelling mazdoors as general mazdoors. In all, the services of a total of 2,718 badili workers of various coal mines in the company spanning its coal mining operations in six districts of the State have been regularised. This apart, as many as 21 security guards of the company have been promoted as ‘jamedars’.
